Character

Sasha was an overly ambitious teenager, and her ambition led her to do things she never thought herself capable of, and as a thirty year old woman, she is reckoning with the relentless memory of a past she has tried her best to forget. She is at war with herself and her feelings of guilt and recrimination, and struggles to find the courage to accept and confront what she did as a teenager. I edited this video, using shots I’d taken with my iPhone, with the app Filmmaker Pro by putting all the videos together and trimming each video where necessary.

Team introduction

Sarah Kamran and I decided to team up for the film opening for our foundation portfolio, as we've built a rapport over the course of the past two months and think we'll work together well to combine our ideas together to create a film opening we're proud of. In terms of the distinction of roles, Sarah is the director, producer, editor and sound designer of the film and will be doing the camerawork whereas I am the writer, assistant director, cinematographer and set designer.
